The handle of this knife makes for an incredibly tactile hold and a naturally good grip, thanks to the qualities of its honest, traditional materials. South American guayubira wood and ethically sourced bone have been combined to create a striking tonal contras, the natural imperfections of the bone making this a unique piece to cherish.

Part of our Tandil collection of fixed-blade gaucho knives. Available in two sizes, these handcrafted knives are intended to be multipurpose, for use indoors or out – just like the authentic knives that gauchos have always carried with them. These forever items use only the highest quality materials: corrosion-resistant stainless steel, South American guayubira wood and ethically sourced horn and bone from naturally deceased animals, with a leather scabbard to protect the blade. Because we’ve used natural materials, there are lots of small variations in color, pattern and shape that make each knife a one-of-a-kind piece.

• Wash the blade carefully; avoid wetting the handle.
• To clean the handle, wipe with a wet cloth and dry immediately.
• Do not soak the handle or leave wet.
• Use silver-polish cream to clean the silver metal elements.
