A horn lamp, spotted a decade ago in the window of a boutique on Buenos Aires’ upscale Avenida Alvear, was the spark that ignited the Alvear collection, which combines the best of Argentine craftsmanship: bold, rustic elements tempered by exquisite metalwork and a sleek contemporary edge. Key to the Alvear aesthetic is the use of authentic ram’s horns, ethically sourced from Argentine farms where the livestock roam freely. With their helix-like silhouette and individual variations in size, color and texture, they make every piece a one-of-a-kind collector’s item. Part of the Alvear Collection. Candles are not included. MATERIALS: Polished silver-coated silver nickel alloy, natural ram horn.
COLOR: Silver candle holder and natural ram horns (color varies slightly for each horn).
SIZE: Candle holder is 11.5¨ high. Its base has a 5¨ diameter. Fits a 1¨ diameter candle. Measurements can vary since products are handmade.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Ram horn: clean with a dry cloth. Silver-coated silver nickel alloy: apply silver paste gently with a dry cloth to polish. Clean with water afterwards, and allow to dry.
